A fairground conceived as a park.

This proposal for the Palma Fairgrounds competition, designed by Jordi Herrero and Auba Studio in collaboration with GNGRUP, stems from a simple yet powerful idea: that the fairgrounds should not be a conventional building, but a habitable park, a living space that unfolds both above and below ground, like an elevated Rambla.

Although the proposal was not selected, we are proud of the work done, and in the words of Jordi Herrero, “For us, it represents a clear vision: to build architecture that improves the environment, that breathes, that grows, and that adapts, just as nature does.”
