Grimalt took part this Tuesday in the ‘4 Directe’ programme on CANAL4 Ràdio where he explained that next week they will be awarded the certificate. “We are very happy, we are the only engineering company in the Balearics to have achieved this recognition.”
Along these lines the CEO of GNGrup stressed “it is time for collaboration, to seek synergies, we must provide sustainability within the construction industry and this is the path we are forging”.
On sustainability, Josep Antoni Grimalt stressed “this is not a fad, it is here to stay. When talking about sustainability we must think about living in the present whilst planning the future and the world we will leave to our grandchildren ” and he pointed out ” sustainability is a three pronged approach: environmental, economical and social, the balance between the three is fundamental and very much needed today”.
Por otro lado, el CEO de GNGrup ha advertido que “el sector de la construcción gasta una gran cantidad de recursos naturales no renovables y emite una gran cantidad de gases de efecto invernadero”, recalcando la importancia de cambiar la construcción. “Es un sector que prácticamente no ha evolucionado, hay mucho trabajo por hacer y debe cambiar. Hay que fomentar la construcción colaborativa, es el futuro”.
Asimismo, Grimalt apuesta por la construcción industrializada por ser “más rápida, más sostenible y conlleva menos riesgos laborales” y ha indicado que “el coste de mantenimiento es más bajo y el coste energético también”.
Finalmente, el invitado ha recordado que el project management permite “quitar el dolor de cabeza a la gente porque el cliente debe saber cuánto le costará el proyecto y el día que acabará la obra. Si se hacen las cosas bien hechas, se ahorran dinero y los plazos se cumplen” y ha asegurado que “si no lo conseguimos, no cobramos”.
