The Faculty of Tourism of the University of the Balearic Islands inaugurates the 2023-24 academic year and the GNgrup award is awarded

One more year the Faculty of Tourism of the University of the Balearic Islands has held the welcome ceremony for the new students of the Tourism degree and the double degree of the Business Administration degree and the Tourism degree for the 2023-24 academic year.
This year, the inaugural lecture of the course was given by Mr. Jaume Montserrat, president of Turisec.

During the event, held in the Archiduque Luis Salvador auditorium with a full capacity, the GNGRUP award was presented to the best student of Social Responsibility and Business Ethics of the 2022-23 academic year.

In his speech, our CEO Josep Antoni Grimalt welcomed the new students and congratulated them:

“Congratulations for wanting to continue learning, despite the adversities, which are not few, and congratulations for having overcome all the obstacles to get here. Build your future and in the meantime, and very important and essential to achieve it, enjoy the journey.”
