The Project Management Institute (PMI) awards GNgrup for the Project Management of the new Lío Pacha Mallorca

Valencia, November 15, 2023.- The Levante delegation (Valencian Community, Balearic Islands and Murcia) of the Project Management Institute has held its XX Annual Conference in  Valencia, with an ambitious program, in which numerous success stories have been presented by the hand of first swords, responsible for projects of international relevance, received by the regional director of the European Executive of the PMI,  Lucila Dotto, who in her first presentation offered a global vision of this key and highly demanded profile, which acts as a link between business and operations and enables success in the implementation of projects.

Project Management Awards

Within the framework of its annual conferences, PMI Levante has awarded prizes to those projects that have stood out this year in the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands and Murcia to highlight good practices in Project Management of relevance to these regions.

The first of the awards went  to GNGrup for its project Lío Mallorca,  which has recovered a hundred-year-old space on the island, thanks to the management of this company with more than 20 years of experience in the management of hotel projects. The Vice-President of the PMI, Antonia Ogallar, was in charge of presenting the award to the President of GNGrup, Belén Oliver.

The second of the awards went to the  Seneca Foundation for  the ThinkinAzul project, which from Murcia coordinates the largest interregional project in marine sciences. He received the award from the President of PMI Levante Miguel Angel Femenía, the Minister of the Environment, Universities, Research and Mar Menor and President of the Seneca Foundation, Agency of Science and Technology of the Region of Murcia, Juan María Vázquez Rojas.

The third, which has been delivered by the General Director of Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana, Manuel Rosalén, has been for the Alicante company PLD Space, for the successful launch of its Miura 1 rocket,  an ambitious project that combines innovation, technology and operational efficiency and has needed technical and decisive capacity to manage multiple resources effectively. A function that the association attributes to the figure of the project manager, to whom it wants to give visibility with these conferences. The award was collected by Gianluca Carollo, Program Manager of PLD Space.
