Josep Antoni Grimalt, has been appointed new President of the Association of Project Management Companies in Spain (AEDIP).

Last December 12th, in the Estudio Zenit space in Madrid, the great annual party of the Construction Project Management in Spain was held. It was a special night as it was also the 30th anniversary of the AEDIP association.

During the event, the most relevant milestones of the association were commemorated, such as the publication of the Project Management White Paper, the publication of the report DIP in the public sector, the Kobah awards, etc.

The evening included a fantastic round table where the pioneers of Project and Construction Management in Spain: José Osuna, Javier García-Monsalve and Jordi Seguró discussed the past, present and future of project management.

This was followed by a very interesting debate with the experiences of historical clients such as Jeffrey Sújar (Managing Partner Urbania International), Vivianne Sabah (Technical Director GMP properties), Ignacio Rubio (Technical Director Merlin properties), Jose María Escobar (Technical Director Neinver).

At the end of the evening, Elena Holgado (TYPSA’s Director of Integral Construction Management) passed the baton to Josep Antoni Grimalt (CEO of GNgrup) as the new president of the association.

AEDIP (ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE DIRECCIÓN INTEGRADA DE PROYECTOS) is a Spanish association of consulting and engineering companies in the construction sector, which considers that the AEDIP is an association of companies in the construction sector.
